Tutoring Prices
All services at Violet Circle Midwifery are offered on a sliding scale. If you cannot pay the full price, contact me for a sliding scale discount.
One-on-One
Individual tutoring is $55 per hour. I offer a free 30-minute initial consult to get a sense of your needs and your learning style, and I will answer relevant questions via email after the session.
No cancellation fee. We’re all midwives!
Small Group Tutoring
Sometimes multiple students reach out looking for similar support and small cohorts can be arranged. Students are always welcome to self-organize into small groups.
Per student prices:
2-3 students $40 per hour
4-5 students $30 per hour
For more than 5 students, contact me.

How it Works
Whether individual or small group, I offer a free 30-minute initial consult to get a sense of your needs and your learning style. I will then prepare for our session based on your input. If you would like a lecture or presentation on a specific topic, I can do a presentation. If you would like to come to your session with a range of questions and have a learner-led question and answer, that is also fine.
In addition to explaining midwifery concepts, I will also go over what likely test questions are, how to know if you have the right answer, and good studying resources. I provide studying strategies and ways to self-test.
You are also welcome to ask questions about the path to midwifery, navigating an apprenticeship, or getting through your first year as a midwife.
After the tutoring session is over, I have (limited) availability for additional relevant questions over email.
