Free plant meditation

Monday August 11th

Join us the second Monday of the month at 7:30pm CST on zoom as we drink medicinal tea in virtual community together.  This meditation will be an opportunity to cultivate sensory awareness in a collective virtual space. The tea will be announced two weeks in advance so everyone will have time to obtain that month’s tea.  Register to receive the zoom link. 

August details: This month’s tea will be burdock root,

Please brew your burdock root tea prior to the start of the meeting.  

Tips on preparing burdock root tea:  Place dried or fresh root in a pot with water and bring it to a low boil. Then simmer it for 10-20 minutes (longer is fine). If you’re short on time, try to simmer it for at least a few minutes. Simmering the root will give you a much more powerful tea than just steeping it.
